• Thirty minutes: $75

• Forty-five minutes: $105

• Sixty minutes: $135

• Seventy-five minutes: $165

• Ninety minutes: $195

• Missing appointments or canceling with less than 24 hours of notice: half the cost of the scheduled appointment

Estimated fees for patient visits are listed below. These fees are for visits that are paid in full at the time of service and are estimates only--total fees are determined by the complexity of each patient’s issues, the number of adjustments needed, etc.

Initial Visit

• Initial exam, average duration (30-45 minutes): $130

• Spinal adjustments, average number of segments (3-4): $55

• Physical therapy, per 15 minutes: $45

• Total for average initial visit: $230

Follow-Up Visits

• Spinal adjustments, average number of segments (3-4): $55

• Physical therapy, per 15 minutes: $45

• Total for average follow-up visit: $100

Miscellaneous Fees

The following fees are never covered by insurance:

• Medical massage therapy, 45 minutes: $110

• Medical massage therapy, 60 minutes: $145

• For canceling or rescheduling with fewer than 24 hours of notice: $50

• For not showing up for a scheduled appointment that wasn’t canceled or rescheduled: $75

Medical massage therapy is a pain-focused alternative to chiropractic that includes no spinal adjustments. It often includes therapeutic exercises and stretching.

 

Insurance

Doctor J is in network with Aetna and BCBS PPOs and is a participating provider with Medicare. If you are in network with another insurance company, he can provide you with everything you need to submit your claims.

Medicare patients: please note that Medicare covers the cost of spinal adjustments and nothing else—not exams, not physical therapy, not adjustments of the extremities.
